The idea was to create a six-page story with no dialogue. The Soul Barterer is about a man who sees something he shouldn't and has to make a fateful choice. He chooses to save his own neck, but ends up losing much more than that. Sometimes, life presents us with really horrible choices and we end up choosing the wrong one because it seems easier or safer -- and then we learn that it was neither. And sometimes it's difficult to know what the right choice is because we were doing something we shouldn't have been doing in the first place." "Kudos to Mickmo for taking the simple script I wrote and turning it into a truly terrifying piece of art loaded with disturbing images and a pervasive sense of evil."
